The Power of a Popsicle Walk
Popsicle Walks: Introducing the simple solution to a crazy workday.
This is a habit I created purely out of necessity.
There are many workdays where I blink and it’s 2:13 pm and I haven’t taken a break yet. Cue: a popsicle walk.
I’ve discovered that taking 20 minutes to go on a walk can be the key to productivity. No matter how much work I’ve gotten done that day, or how much there still is left to do, if I can’t focus or am feeling burned out, how productive can I really be? My personal solution to this dilemma is to take a popsicle walk.
Yep. It’s as simple as it sounds. Combining a sweet treat with some midday movement and time outside is the perfect missing puzzle piece to improving my productivity.
Step 1 - Choose your popsicle.
My favorite right now is the fruit frenzy bars from Trader Joe’s.
Step 2 - Put on walking shoes.
