Why Marketing Professionals Need Grace

Every time I build an email sequence it takes me time over the course of several days, sometimes weeks, to refine and perfect the material.

Then, when it’s time to update that sequence I login and see a bunch of little details I want to change.

It seems like that moment of “it’s perfect!” washes away entirely and I think, “What was I thinking?!” “That header needs to be the brand color!”… and it goes on. Can you relate?

I’m finding more and more that it’s important to extend myself grace.

Marketing is evolving on a daily basis. There is always new information, new trends, new guidelines, and a marketing expert eager to tell you to STOP ✋🏽 doing something that was totally correct 1 week or 1 month ago. Navigating this ever evolving digital space is tricky. It takes vigilance and flexibility.

And grace.
